Why Give?

Prayer and generosity have sustained DYM from the very beginning. Every gift represents more than dollars—it represents people, stories, and opportunities for God’s Kingdom to expand.

Donors are not just financial contributors; they are true partners in the mission. Whether it’s a one-time gift or ongoing support, your investment helps us.

When you give, you are investing in transformed lives and multiplying impact.

What Your Gift Makes Possible

Behind every contribution is a real human making a decision to give from their own resources, helping us magnify the impact with feet on the ground from our very small core team.

Your generosity fuels

Community gatherings and events

DYM’s facility buzzes with activity all week.

  • Wednesdays: Discovery Bible Studies for women upstairs in the morning; by night, nearly 40 middle and high schoolers fill the space for games, worship, and Bible study.

  • Bi-weekly: A micro-church of leaders from diverse ministries meets to encourage one another—locally and globally.

Meals and hospitality at Fireside

Last year, more than 1,600 meals were shared at Fireside.

Every plate of food creates space for students to gather, build friendships, and talk about faith and life. What looks like dinner is really discipleship—nourishing bodies and souls at the same table.

Resources for men and women coming out of incarceration

In the past year, alone, over 200 men have heard about the love of Jesus and received weekly mentoring through the Douglas County Jail. Sharing their struggles together, many have found hope through Discovery Bible Studies and other resources.

DYM along with Gracious Promise gave 3 cases of the Life Recovery Study Bibles in the Douglas County Correctional system this past year.

Discovery groups and coaching

Throughout the year various small groups or individuals schedule sessions or trainings highlighting pathways to living on mission.  Schedule a session or your small group.  We love to coach others from our ministry experience.
